Entry requirements: A completed academic Bachelor's degree in optical engineering, optoelectronics, photonics and related fields with good/excellent grades. Upper-intermediate level of English. For admission to the partner university IELTS or TOEFL may be required.
Cost: 199 000 RUR for Russian citizens 219 000 RUR for foreign citizens (price noted is for first 2 semesters at ITMO, price for the second year will be set by Partner University).

Optical Design Double Degree Master’s Program:

  • Prepares highly qualified experts in the growing field of optical engineering synthesizing scientific and professional expertise of ITMO University and Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) and providing students with an in-built mobility period at WUT.

  • Offers in-depth knowledge of design of high-quality optical systems for different purposes, optical measurements, computer simulation and software development for optical system design, optical image processing, design of optical devices and CALS strategy in optical engineering.

  • Offers hands-on training in a modern lab using special software and innovative educational technologies.

  • Allows to design curriculum focused on students’ desired specialization.

  • Provides knowledge and skills to contribute to optics research and development.
